Meet the Team
Dr. Ana Chavez | Research Director, MAG
-
Dr. Chavez is a polymer chemist specializing in sustainability. Her expertise in fundamental science and molecular flow is the theoretical anchor for the Materials Advancement Group (MAG) team's innovations.
Leo | Materials Processing Technology Student, PIT
-
Leo, from Hays, Kansas, is the hands-on expert. He specializes in process control, computational modeling, and applied engineering—bridging the gap between the lab and the industrial floor at the Prairies Institute of Technology.
Finn | Tech-Enthusiast Intern, MAG
-
Finn provides the team with vital, if unconventional, support. He’s obsessed with emerging tech trends, providing an unpredictable, creative element that often leads to breakthrough ideas.
Jax | Field Testing & Tactical Operations Status: Currently on Assignment (Case File 002)
Jax is the team’s physical closer. He specializes in high-stress evaluation—taking the materials Dr. Chavez creates and Leo models, and pushing them to their breaking point in the field. He’ll be joining the MAG team on the ground for the upcoming Shrinking Rubber mystery.
OUR MISSION:
The Materials Advancement Group (MAG) at PIT exists to solve regional economic challenges by creating superior, sustainable materials and developing the skilled engineers needed to bring them to market.
